The inner you! We have a whole world inside of us. A lot of times we might identify with the thoughts and emotions inside our mind and body. However, if we sit quietly and focus on the breath, we can start to see that we are observing the thoughts and feelings instead of identifying with them. When we allow thoughts to pass peacefully without trying to attach to anything, then we will arrive at peace. When the mind is clear our emotions are clear — we find stillness.
So next time we are overwhelmed or otherwise disconnected, we can reconnect by finding ourselves in our body. By connecting with the stillness inside ourselves we will align more with what we want for ourselves. The mind needs quiet to align to a better reality.
