Hello and welcome back to another night of SB Chime! I'm your host, Kev, and tonight we'll be going through my mind looking for something worth sharing.
Finding your gifts can take time for many reasons. From lack of self awareness to restrictive ideas of what we are allowed to be or are capable of doing, we find ways to keep ourselves in the comfortable box that is our ego.
A good way to jump out of the box is to identify your strengths. To find your strengths, try looking at tasks, relationships or games where you are naturally competent. Identifying your gifts is subtle because it can be difficult to see that something is a talent when you are naturally inclined to it. So, you will be thinking whatever it is you are doing is easy, when in fact that is your talent because it is challenging for others. So, if it is something you are good at that others struggle with and you enjoy, grow it. Make sure you enjoy it, as well. Aging brings beauty to your gifts.
From as early as possible, make your gifts the driving components of your career. If you are in a career where you are using your talents to help humanity, you will feel a sense of fulfillment and joy. Who does not enjoy getting paid to be their best self?
If at all possible, produce value in your own right, start a business, build your brand, and take on the world by adding your individual value as widely as it is needed. Abundance follows naturally for a few reasons. One: anything you can be interested in you will find others who are. Two: your natural talent coupled with hard work to refine it will outweigh someone who is trying to force themselves to be good at whatever your talent is thereby making you the defacto victor every time.
Producing the best product for the least effort is an extremely valuable commodity.
What do you like to do? What is easy for you to do that is difficult for others? When you look at your adolescence, can you see any events which either helped to shape you or where you performed well despite opposing factors? What brings you joy? Are there hobbies that you have that could be related to your gifts?
There are many gifts to unlock from yourself. I can't wait for you all to meet the greatest version of yourselves. It's coming, get ready.
