Our talents are many, and with enough repetition and will we can become great at most things.
However, real utility is found in a group or partnership. When we share talents, especially complementary like people skills with engineering or design with implementation, we an achieve far more than we might otherwise as individuals.
To build something greater than ourselves adds purpose to our lives and makes us feel a part of something. Of course, many of us get involved in careers because there is a need to provide for ourselves and our families. However, when we find purpose in what we do, we can achieve so much more. This is especially true in a group setting. Many people feeding energy into the same project which occupies the mind as a kind of a fun game instead of work.
