Today, and this week, I learned about what it means to be in the eye of the storm.

It was a relatively busy week, and at times I found myself exhausted by the idea of what I had to finish by the end of the day. Although self imposed, the stress would at times cause me to take a deep breath, refocus and keep going.

Those moments where I was stressed and found myself frazzled by the turbulence in my mind, I would refocus, and move back to the eye of the storm. Instead of concerning myself with what I had to do next, I took on the present task completely, and found myself to be more efficient as a result.

There is definitely an upper limit on what you can manage to complete in a finite amount of time. However, after this lesson, I imagine what we think we can complete and what we could potentially achieve are drastically different. Finding your center is a key to getting closer to the upper bound of your potential.
