Waking up is a metaphor for life. How we start the day sets the stage for the rest of the day. They do literally studies about this stuff. When you wake up, for the first 30 minutes our brains are in an 'alpha' state. Which doesn't mean wolves and bears, it means our minds are impressional. These brain waves are called the gateway to the subconscious mind.

I always strive to do things that set me up for the start of my day like making my bed, thinking positive happy thoughts, and goal setting for the day. If I get through everything with time to spare, I start reading something stimulating like Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill.

“There's a sunrise and a sunset every single day, and they're absolutely free. Don't miss so many of them.” ― Jo Walton

If you're lucky enough to be able to see the sun from your home, watching it rise will lighten your mood and brighten your smile. We're all here to enjoy, take time to make life worth the while.
